Anthony Chabot Regional Park

Anthony Chabot Regional Park is a beautiful, 3,314-acre year-round public campground with 70 miles of hiking, bicycling, and horse-riding trails, over 70 campsites, lake access, boating, fishing, an equestrian center and an archery club.

The campground features ten walk-to-tent campsites, 12 RV/trailer campsites with full hookups, 53 drive-to-tent campsites, seven group camps ranging in capacity from 35 to 300 campers, and backpack camping for groups of 10 or less. All sites, except backpack sites, provide a picnic table, fire ring and grill, and restrooms that include hot showers. All campgrounds provide access to miles of hiking and bicycling trails, along with fishing at nearby Lake Chabot.
Pack up your bag and go on a several mile nature hike adventure to your campsite with backpack camping. Backpack camping is available at Two Rocks site and is connected to standard camps by the Skyline National Trail, Bay Area Ridge Trail, and Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail.
Chabot Equestrian Center offers horse boarding, training arenas, horseback riding lessons, horse day camps, and daily guided trail tours. In addition, Chabot Equestrian provides boating lessons and rentals, and multiple watercraft launch sites for visitor convenience. Lake Chabot and Lake Del Valle watercraft tours are also available. Children have many opportunities for fun and learning with age-appropriate programs and activities including swimming, boating, and basic nature survival classes.

Redwood Bowmen Archery Club, located high in the hills and providing a gorgeous view, is also available for archery enthusiasts. Experienced and certified club members provide classes for safety, proper gear care, aiming and shooting technique. The club provides bows, arrows, and gear, and students practice shooting side-by-side with the careful coaching of the instructors. Lessons for children are also available.
